Christmas Shirt Picture Attempt 1

I got the boys these shirts last year and amazingly, they still fit! Connor's is bordering on short but we are wearing them with pride. Thanks Tiffini! Well, I tried this week to get some cute pictures of them in front of the tree and this is what I got. Chaos with a sippy cup. And by the way some of these are out of focus because I was just snapping as fast as my little point & shoot would go. Sorry. Lesson learned.

The green cup was a permanent fixture. Attempts to remove it resulted in sobs.

(Me thinking, maybe if I get them to stand up he'll ditch the cup...)
"Okay guys, stand up! Reach for the sky! Smile big!"
(No such luck on the cup.)

"Smile! No, don't say cheese. Just give me your pretty smile. Cameron, please smile."

"Oh Connor, that is not your best smile."

Did I mention this kid had a fever and a snot faucet on his face?

"Okay, so you guys need a wrestling break? Go for it."

"Now lets try to stand in front of the tree. Can you guys go stand in front of the tree together?"

"Cam, where'd you go? and Connor, where did that strap/belt come from? I thought I said in front of the tree. Can you move in front of it? No? Okay I can work with a blue wall."

"Oh Cam, there you are, and with that trusty cup. Connor, don't touch that."

"Can you guys at least give each other a hug. Oops, Mommy's camera is too slow. One more time!"

Connor is 3!

Connor turned 3! I know every mom says it but I just cannot believe how quickly time has flown! He was my first baby. I will remember his birth and learning to be a mom with him forever. I am so blessed to have Connor as my child. We decided on a pirate themed party. We had 12 friends over and made pirate hats and treasure maps. We ate a pirate cake and partied till we crashed. It was a wonderful time and Connor was beyond thrilled.

Mimi & Papa got Connor a full pirate costume to wear for his party. (And because our gift to him was a dress up bin and we asked guests to bring small items to add to the bin.)

Connor greeted his guests at the door with a hearty "Ahoy Mateys!"

Ms Linda made our awesome pirate cake!

Cameron & Blaine are learning to be good buds!

My precious little one!

Opening presents!

Jadis is displaying her pirate hat.

Papa helped Connor & Cam make their treasure maps.

Caleb, Ethan & their dad, Ben.

Grady & Rubye made fun hats too!

We love to play with Andi & Milly!

Charlie Brown, It's the Great Pumpkin!

This is the best one I could get of them together.

"You need your hat on, Brother!"

Children's Museum

On a recent trip to San Antonio we checked out the Children's Museum for the first time. It was a blast!

We checked out the miniature HEB where the kids got produce, crackers, ice cream, cereal and so much more.

I promise Cameron smiles a lot. For some reason they are just really hard to capture on camera!

Connor especially loved the airplane.
Who needs to see where you're flying?

Connor was busy directing planes to take off and land.

We couldn't leave without a ride on the trolley!
