I'm Gonna Knock You Out!

Cameron received a t-ball set for his birthday, which Connor loves. So here are some pictures of the first night we got it out and played with it. 

Connor was up first and knocked the fire out of that ball. 

Straight into his brothers face.  

 The swelling was gone by morning but it sure looked nasty for a while.

So Cameron tried his hand at bat. 

And yes, Cameron is without pants and Connor is wearing a belt over his t-shirt. We encourage independent choices at our house.

Connor's Nap Time Activities

My big boy is like my shadow lately...ALWAYS with me. So I decided to capitalize on his interest in what I'm doing and had him clean windows and mirrors. He got so excited about squirting the Windex.

Then, a few days later he was painting while Cameron was sleeping and he called me in to show me something. He had painted a C - his "special letter." He was so proud of himself.

This sweet boy has been sorely neglected on here lately.

His teeth have made him miserable for the last several weeks.

River Rocks & Runnin'

We recently discovered a creek that runs behind a park that we love! We had just gone to the park to enjoy a beautiful day and happened upon this little creek. The boys had a fantastic time throwing rocks and watching a frog. So much better than sitting at home!

Budding Photographer

If you thought this post was going to be about a new hobby of mine, you may be disappointed. Connor has discovered our camera and now has a new passion: photography. The only hiccup is that we may not all find the same things...photo-worthy.

Without further adieu, A Day in the Life of Connor.

Connor began his day with some close personal time on the couch; really close.

He eventually got up and discovered he had not yet put on his shoes. He located one.

Moving on with his day, Connor was faced with a "Sophie's Choice" level decision: What weapon  to arm myself with???

Upon further exploration Connor discovered a tornado must have blown through his house during the night leaving dog toys, a dish towel and cards in the aftermath.

Or this waffle eating creature could have been the culprit.

Continuing the investigation, Connor found a flip flop. 

"When is breakfast going to be ready?" the detective thought.

"Ahhh! Further evidence of foul play! Although this dirty laundry looks more like the work of Mommy than Cameron."

"I'll leave Mommy a flower so she knows I have been helping her all day."
